I just upgraded to the latest build on Jaunty, and most things are running quite smooth. However, my local media files that are encoded with H.264 video and AAC audio are now playing without sound. This is NOT the issue that others are having with no sound anywhere; navigation sounds work fine, anything played via a Boxee app plays just fine, and local content that has MP3 (or some other codec) audio plays fine. It is only AAC-encoded local media that plays back with no sound.
The files themselves play without problem in mplayer, vlc, xine, and anything using the gstreamer framework (i.e. Miro). Where could I look next to try to figure out why Boxee isn't able to do the audio playback on these files?
