    Default MLB.tv App

I've got an MLB.tv Premium Subscription and tried to get the new app to work. I can log in, but when I select a game I get an error.

"Sorry, you need to have an MLB.tv Premium Account"

I confirmed my info with MLB, so that's not the issue. Anyone else have this problem? Sorry if this is a dupe, I did a search and couldn't find anything about the new app.

Tested and got the same result on Vista 32, and Mac.

I think if you go to mlb.com/boxee they say you may need to update your account on mlb.tv's side. Check it out...

I confirmed the info before, it seems like they just wanted me to put an expiration year in for the CC associated with my account. Before I did that it wouldn't even let me log in to the app. After, I can log in but I can't access any game recaps/live games.

    Have you gotten it running?

Same thing for me. I'm an MLB.TV Premium subscriber too, so I 'confirmed' my account at MLB.com/boxee as suggested, but when I'm in the MLB channel in boxee and try to view an archived game, I also get the message: "Sorry, you need to have an MLB.tv Premium Account".

    Thanks!

Nothing relating to MLB.tv works on day one, so I am not surprised. Good to hear that I'm not the only one!

Ain't that the truth. The NexDef high-def plug-in fiasco is still not properly resolved, and the promise of radio commentary being synced with the live streaming TV feed was promised but has never materialized.

I hope the folks at boxee realize the issues they might end up running into by having the MLB TV product within their application, but I applaud them for making the deal regardless.

I can confirm the same. Have a premium account, so I went to mlb.com/boxee and filled out a wallet entry. Still not able to play any games through boxee, though the MLB.tv player still works. The message I get is slightly different: "Sorry, the game is only available for MLB.TV premium accounts."

Called mlb support they weren't much help but took my info and gave me a ticket number.

The mlb.tv app is a huge welcome addition to the boxee world. I am just really disappointed that it does not work on AppleTV at all. I just get a black screen and have to do a hard reboot. It works great on my imac though which is nice I guess. Is there any chance this is going to be fixed? I wish I could turn my ATV into a mac mini as the ATV is pure crap.
