Where are the subtitle fonts?

I want to change the font of the subtitles, but I only get Times New Roman to work. I tried to copy some of the fonts (*.ttf) listed in settings>videos>subtitles into /library/fonts/ on my apple tv, but that doesn't help. Is there another folder that I can access with my FTP client where I should put my fonts?

PS. I copied the fonts from my Windows 7 RC Boot Camp partition.
