    Default Navi-X plugin for Boxee!!!

Long Deep Sigh... okay, I posted earlier Navi-X is now available for Boxee... what I didn't know is it was in Beta, and not supposed to be released immediately. Apparently it does still have some decent bugs in them and I misunderstood this. I was anxious and that what's my bad! The good news is you can still at least check out the preview for Navi-X on Boxee, or at least certain versions. The person testing this is also the creator of the script Rodejo, and tells me he was using Boxee 0.9.7.4826M of 7 Jan 2009 and Linux Ubuntu Version 8.04 LTS when he tested this and it worked for the most part, but NO PROMISES! Sorry again to hype up the plugin, but I think it will be something appreciated in the long run!
Check out www.navi-x.org for a video demo and links to the script for XBMC. We also have a live simulator for Navi-X that gives you a pretty good working demo for you to tinker with until we announce it is ready for prime time! Have a good one!

Default The repository for Navi-X plugin!

    http://xbmc-addons.googlecode.com/sv...Navi-X Plugin/

This should point you directly to the files, located in the XBMC SVN Repository... hope this works!
If it doesn't then someone let me know please. Thanks.

Just a quick note to anyone reading this, I had to change the link a couple of times because it wasn't working at first, but this one should be fine now!

Thanks for the plugin, it sounds neat. However, the latest versions of Boxee make it difficult to install a new add-on without an App Box repository. The link posted above is an SVN repository, which won't help most of the people here.

For Linux, the path to place the unzipped folder is:
    /opt/boxee/plugins/video/
    AppleTV/Mac:
    /Applications/Boxee.app/Contents/Resources/Boxee/plugins/video/
    Windows:
    c:\Program Files\Boxee\plugins\video\

From there, add the plugin with the AppBox.
I don't think Navi-X is compatible with Boxee though. Every link displays a 'read more' but never a link to the video (unless I am missing something).

If anybody is having technical issues with Navi-X, please e-mail the programmer Rodejo at rodejo16@gmail.com with specific details regarding the issue. Rodejo claims it works and works well on Boxee, but since I don't use Boxee, maybe there is something I am missing as far as getting it to work.

Please e-mail him and he'll get back to you as soon as possible.

    Definitely doesn't work for me.

This hung up my Boxee app pretty hard. Had to ssh into the box and kill all boxee processes.

Did you test this at all on a Boxee machine. Not to sound negative, but it doesn't seem so.

the link above asks you to sign in to access files, is that a public svn? or private?

I installed manually and am unable to watch any content. All I can do is select the read more option. There is no option to watch the content.
