The lack of support for Amazon is the only significant disappointment I have with my Boxee Box.

Face the facts, Amazon is not going to come to Boxee. The other options are catching up to Boxee while the Boxee team keeps discounting the Boxee Box to try and keep it interesting instead of improving the product.

It's a sad time for us long time Boxee fans. But I am already looking at moving to a different option.

Putting beside getting an app, which would be nice, I don't get why going via the website doesn't work. It's Flash, it works on Linux, isn't this a Boxee problem (read: bug) and not something we need to wait for Amazon to fix?

Amazon just released an Amazon Video iPad app. It looks like they are getting more serious about competing with Netflix. Can we expect a Boxee Box app soon now? Please please PLEASE!

This is funny -> hilarious. Amazon could give a i s h t about Boxee. Let's compare 90 million users to 500,000k or less. That makes total sense!

    1. Fairly often, we've purchased a good deal of content from them instead of itunes.
    2. Big Bang Theory, The Mighty Boosh, various rental movies, I'm a prime member so that encourages my patronage.
    3. Netflix, hulu, (and if you consider it) itunes.
    4. I think they're fair. May not be the cheapest but they're competitive. And in my case centralized storage and access trumps a couple of bucks here and there.
    5. Streams well for me. The download tool has only been used on one or two occasions.
    6. Buffering is great, hd quality is good. Some videos start out a little low quality but quickly buffer to full resolution.
    7. yes.
    8. Navigation is ok.... search capabilities are good but navigation is poor. Hence boxee.
    9. The easiest... I have my one-click options set up. It's a single click affair.

If you want to help push Amazon Prime/VOD then email Amazon. The louder the boxee community is, and the more that your Amazon subscription depends on Boxee support, the more likely we are to get an app.
