* You have to be an Amazon Prime member (which I am) as it is now included in the membership. AP is a good deal if your household (can include up to 5 people in the same house) orders at least 20 things from Amazon a year.
Now would be a great time to implement an Amazon VOD app.
Amazon VOD is only free to those that paid the $79 fee. Those of us who have .edu addresses are not eligible unless we pay. But yeah, I second the request for a Boxee app, be it official or unofficial. This was the first hit on google when searching "boxee amazon", btw.
I have lots of computers.
Sure would be nice if there was an amazon app soon to take advantage of their news today!
I don't see anything that would indicate that boxee are in discussions:

FedEx just dropped off my new Boxee Box (from Amazon) and it would be great if they could do an app so it would work with Amazon VOD. I can already connect through my BluRay player, but it would be nice to use this box instead.

A little off topic... but maybe not.

What I think he might be talking about is this:
"sounds like a great idea!
i'll talk to the dev guys... maybe we can get something going..."
