    Default Duplicate Movies

I recently set up a my apple tv for the first time with boxee. After adding my external hardrive as a source i noticed that under movies there were two of each movie. They each show up once but when i click on a movie, for example zoolander, it brings up a page with two zoolander covers which then i can click on one to view the movie. After checking both, they both have the same file location. I only have one source added which is Volumes/EXTERNAL/Movies/
Not sure what to do, I tried accessing the apple tv files and deleted the boxee database file and then re added the source but still there are duplicated. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Sean

you should try erasing the library (settings>general) ..if this continues please check the path of both movies to see if they are the same..

After erasing the library, once the library is reloaded i still have duplicates of each movie, and the path of both movies are the same /Volume/EXTERNAL/Movies/*title of movie*.avi
Not sure what else i am doing wrong, i went to videos and browse and the folder movies from my external hardrive is only added once, but there is an option to browse the volumes and then go to external and view the movies from there as well but i think this is just for browsing purposes and not an actual source that would be scanned.

i also noticed when i erased the library in setting, some movies loaded up and they loaded as multiple, and i let it load them in, it didnt load all the movies in that i have, after i restarted boxee it started loading more in, and i noticed that only most of the first ones it had loaded in had duplicates and not many of the later ones, and none of the tv shows had duplicates which are on the same external hardrive, weird, anyway i'll send my db and log files soon.
    Thanks

What happened after this? is the problem solved for you? Is there a fix yet or will i have to remove every duplicated entry manually on my 2124 dvd iso rips..?!
Boxee is really a sweet, sweet app.. but sometimes its a bit to limited for the user.. like for example to be able to use custom cover arts.. and to sort out the small bugs.. like 200 treads about this problem with the indexing..

I found a solution for duplicates on two different config's

    (1) Using the nitoTV mount SMB feature to mount a NAS (Time Capsule).
    (2) Using the nitoTV USB Mount (drobo)

I looked in the sources and low and behold under the default local movies source listed the same mounted SMB share or USB mount was within this folder.

Solution for me was to NOT scan for media on the local movies folder (make it private). Since I don't have media there so no loss.

After that no duplicate listings after a db wipe and rebuild.

(Note I have added media to the aTV but located it in a newly created folder(s) to house it, leaving the default ones empty.

nah still havent found a fix, and the external hardrive wasn't listed under the local movies. It's weird because not all the movies are duplicated (which to me means that there cant be a source added twice since all my movies are in the same source) and the ones that are there are no more than one duplicate. Also my tv shows are all fine, they are in another folder on my external hardrive. My file system goes like this, for movies //EXTERNAL/Videos/Movies and for tv shows //EXTERNAL/Videos/TV Shows
