Default Update Boxee using XBMC Windows Builds?

Since Boxee is "powered by XBMC"?

I was wondering if I could update it by copying parts ow the newest XBMC into the Boxee folder?
Boxee box specs, powered by Windows 7 and Boxee BETA

Asus P5N7A-VM, connected to Philips ambilight 47" LCD-TV
    Intel Core2DUO E8400 @ 3,0 GHz
    Scythe Shuriken CPU Cooler
    2 x 1 GB Kingstond DDR2-800MHz
    Western Digital 500GB GreenPower
    Thermaltake Bach HTPC Case
    MCE remote for control

    Default

Short answer, no, long answer, CERTAIN PARTS, yes

But for the most part this is a complete mod, independant of the XBMC, but using some (MOST) of the core software
