I'm looking at building a new computer to use for boxee as well as a website server (just very, very low traffic - mostly test/experimental stuff of mine with php, mediawiki, etc).

I'm replacing a super old computer that has become to old and to slow to serve any real purpose at all (and it freezes sometimes now too).

I would like to get this for as little as possible - hopefully under $300. I'd definitely like it to be reasonably quiet, small, and low power as it will be on 24/7.

I'm currently considering the Atom 330 the most right now as it is low power, small, and I can get a case, the motherboard, the cpu, and the power supply for ~$150. Then I just need some ram and a hard drive.

But before I spend this - I'd like to know how well the 330 can run boxee (with just on-board video)? Will it run it at all? Will it run it well? How would it compare to other options? What do you suggest? Is that Via nano better (I've generally heard YES for this application, but I haven't looked into it much)?

Has anyone used the 330 successfully? How well is it working?

I know this has been discussed several times, but I haven't seen any really good/firm answers.
