Default Blu Ray, HD DVD Support Read/Write

Hiya, there are rumors that osx 10.5.6 will have native blu ray support, how long from then will it take to get support for bluray HD in Boxee? Is this possible?

Also it would be nice to be able to archive to disk, CD, DVD, Blu Ray etc directly from Boxee, will this be implemented?

And, ripping movies directly from DVD to HD via Boxee would be useful.

i wonder is apple will expose a player api for blu-ray... i doubt they will, though. it would make ripping too easy.

call me a skeptic, but i doubt we will see proper hd disc support untill there is something like DeAACS (as in DeCSS).... and in the case of blu-ray, we might also need DeBD+.
