I had to start over setting up my Boxee due to an unfortunate 2.3 auto update.

Everything is back where I had it, including AFP and the ATV mounting in my Shared network on my desktop.

I have NitoTV installed and I want to add back the EXT USB HDD to my ATV. Do I just plug it in or is there something I need to do in order to have it recognized by the AFP setup in Boxee.

Before when I had it all set up there was an alias to the USB EXT HDD in my /frontrow/movies folder, but of course it is not there since I had to reinstate the whole setup.
