ATV 2.3 Installed, Boxee, NitoTV but no USB?

I recently had everything in my setup perfectly until ATV auto updated to 2.3 and I lost my Boxee.

I now have Boxee back and installed NitoTV to create access to my EXT USB HDD, which I was using before the auto update.

Installation went great, but for some reason the EXT HDD does not show up in my Boxee/browse/network and I cannot really remember if I had to add it manually in the settings and if I did what the IP address is of the EXT?

If anyone can point me towards the best way to get all this back I would appreciate it very much.

Have you tried to add it via local settings ..settings>media sources >local sources and then browsing to the appropriate location..
