I have found a way to customize the RSS feeds available in the Internet Archive to return a feed containing a single olde tyme TV show instead of a whole collection. First, go to the classic_tv collection of the archive:
http://www.archive.org/details/classic_tv
You will see an RSS link for recent additions, copy it's URL:
http://www.archive.org/services/coll...ion=classic_tv
Add a query to the URL containing the title of the TV show you want to filter on. This one is for "The Life of Riley":
http://www.archive.org/services/coll...0of%20Riley%22
Make a TinyURL to this new URL because the Boxee RSS does not work on long or escaped URLS. Here is one ready to go for Life of Riley:
http://tinyurl.com/lifeofrileys1
Add this feed to Boxee and presto, you get (mostly) a feed containing only Life of Riley. Sometimes there are other stray vids showing, but they are easy to ignore. I also have one for Victory at Sea:
http://tinyurl.com/victoryatsea
The one hitch is that the feed name will not reflect the content, all feeds will have the same "classic_tv" name. It would be nice to be able to edit these names when creating the feed.
THE STUPID FORUM SYSTEM SHORTENED MY URLS - HOVER OVER THEM TO SEE THE ACTUAL URLS.
