Thread: Hulu works on on iMac; "Video Not Available" message on Mac mini

    Default Hulu works on on iMac; "Video Not Available" message on Mac mini

    I opened a trouble ticket for this issue a little while ago, but I wonder if the user community has suggestions/experience with this...

    Boxee Version 0.9.9.5324

    - 2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo iMac - Hulu working fine.

    - Mac mini (Nvidia) - Hulu had been working until earlier tonight. Now, shows are visible, normal video load screen appears, followed by message "This video is not currently available. We apologize for the inconvenience".

    As the above message is Hulu generated, it would mean that the Boxee on the mini is susceptible to Hulu blocking, while the iMac is not (does not make sense to me, but that is what is happening on my systems).

    Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

    PS - I already uninstalled and recreated User Data. No change.

    I have same problem.

    I just read http://blog.boxee.tv/

    look like hulu is blocking boxee browser ...

    which shows are you trying to play ..it is working for me at the moment..

    @Marcel

    Hulu not working on either 2.16 iMac or Mac Mini (30 Rock, Chicago Hope, etc). I get the Boxee logo and Rotating stars in center of screen, then the logo/stars jump to the lower left. At this point, if I hit play/pause, I will see the video progress bar progressing as if a video were playing (but again, only Boxee logo & stars show; no sound).

    This issue has been fixed, apparently since afternoon of 3/12. Thanks all for your input.

    I am having this issue as well however it makes it through several minutes of the video and then gives me the unavailable message. I am using Hulu through Boxee on my AppleTV.
