Live TV Help
I just installed the live tv dongle with the supplied antenna. I got 2 channels lol. I live in a townhouse with no real close windows near by.
I was expecting to a few more than that. I guess I will have to install a roof top antenna or attic one.
I am on the border with Mississauga/Oakville. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know . I also want to avoid doing the antenna myself as I am horrible wiring and such.

I suppose you could try a regular set of indoor rabbit ears to see if they work better. I splurged for the Mohu Leaf amplified antenna because given my distance from the broadcast towers, that made sense. Otherwise going the attic or rooftop route seems like the next logical step, which is probably why you haven't seen any other responses to your post

How many channels do you get with it? Can I use boxee dongle with this?

Most of what's available to me in my area (which has no bearing on how many you will get); and more than I got with the shipped antenna.How many channels do you get with it?

I gave my friend a regular Mohu Leaf Antenna , He lives close to the lake (Toronto) and he picks up all the major US channels as well ; in total = 20 [no dongle / just direct to TV]

Also, where did hey buy it? I saw it online but only in the states, I do not want to pay the 40 dollar shipping

I also bought it online. just used the us shipping (~$5) w/ Canadian address and it got delivered to me w/ no extra cost
* check the off topic section on this forum / Darci and I put up some discount promos for Mohu, see if they're still good!
* Futureshop also carries it!
