Some newbie questions

Hola. Have setup the box yesterday and there are some questions I have since this player is rather different than my previous players, hopefully someone can answer me

1. When ever I enter "movies" it goes automaticly to some strange list with movies you can rent and see for free. I rather perfer to have this to directly show my own movies.. is this possible? And if it is.. how?

2. Apps. In the favorite list there are several apps that I have not added, how do I remove this and how do I add just the apps I want? Its a bit tricky going through houndreds of apps everytime I want to my "own" apps.

3. When I add movie-sources to my library, I have 2 choises; I can show the movies with or without prefix.. Cant I rename the names the box gets from imdb? Like Crocodile Dunee will be: 'Crocodile' Dundee and get on the top of the list. Then if ignore prefix, I will get The Simpsons Movie under S and The Faculty under F. I wanna go to the movietitle it got from imdb and just rename it to whatever I want. Possible?

4. Tv-shows. When I enter tv-shows and gets into my library there are 2 shows I REALLY DONT have on my computer, network or etc. One is Robocop-show. Didnt even know that there was a Robocop-tvshow.. Can I remove this or hide it?

5. Possible to change the menu? Or add an app to the startmenu? For instans if I dont want tv-shows, instead youtube or spotify on the start? Possible?

6. Add own images? When I added the movie Blood In blood out it finds Blood In, Blood Out on imdb but retrieves it as another title (maybe correct, but not blood in blood out) and without any image. Can I change the title or add a image for this movie?

7. Why do I have to login everytime to Spotify app after having the Boxee Box turned off? Cant it remember my login? (log in through my facebook account)

1. In Settings>>General>>Menu you can select Local Content (or similar) for Movies and TV Shows and for Favorite apps (this is important for your apps question)

2. You can manage your favorite apps from the Favorite apps screen. See the last section of http://support.boxee.tv/entries/20747733-apps-on-boxee on how to add apps to this screen; the process is similar to remove apps.

3. You can manually manage items by using NFO files; see the NFO Resources sticky post near the top of the Boxee Box help forum section.

4. Yes, if you select the Show, then select an episode, then select the identify icon, you will then have the option to remove it. You should also be able to see the file path/ file name to figure out what the show should be identified as.

5. No the Home Screen can not be customized.

6. Yes, you can use a folder.jpg image if the movie is in its own folder. NFO files can also be used for this. However if the movie is completely wrong after being automatically identified, you can try manually identifying it by selecting the movie then clicking on the identify icon. But in general, NFO files are recommended over manually identifying in case you ever need to rescan from scratch.

7. This is a bug that some (but not all users) experience unfortunately. I don't believe there's any kind of work around.

Btw.. Forgot to ask something.. Have a map with multiple musicvideos in different formats.. How do I play all the files and shuffle them? As I understand I can just play one video, then chose another and play that and so on.. ?
