Exclamation Can Move Existing Boxee Box Remote to BB on PC?

I have an existing Boxee Box and I'm starting to get frustrated with the lack of hardware being a barrier for performance in rendering high quality video (even some 720p content lags or loses audio/video sync). Not to mention the outright inability to handle 10-bit encoded files.

Sadly now I'm having to look at building my own box to run BB software on. I wanted if I would need to do anything special to keep the remote working once I made the transition. I know they offer a standalone remote with IR Receiver now, but I would rather save the expense since I will already have an existing remote.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

The Boxee Box remote is an RF remote and needs the Boxee RF dongle to work on a PC and those aren't sold separately as far as I know.
