Default Is The Boxee Box Finished

When Boxee decided to drop support for HTPC did they also drop support for Boxee Box from Dlink too ?

Although there is no new SDK, many of the bugs in Boxee for Boxee Box could still be fixed, but so far I have yet to see an update.

IF and this is an IF Boxee has decided to abandon the device, should Dlink open the hardware up to the community so that we may install XBMC ?

let me know your thoughts for the future of the Boxee Box from Dlink.
Boxee is a good product - stop bashing it.
If we all include our setup we could all help each other better
