AFAIK the dts neo6, prologic II, multi directional should be required if you're playing a video with stereo (2 channel) audio, these would upconvert that audio to 5.1 surround. In that case I usually go for DTS Neo 6 while using NF on BB

I use ProLogic IIx Cinema for all my 2.0 to 5.1 movie/TV content. But to each their own. I do use DTS Neo for stereo music. But I prefer the dolby option for movie/tv content. And the DTS NEO option for music.
