I have had my Boxee for a year now and have never had the shutdown issue until yesterday. I did figure out what caused it - I had added another PC (newly built) as a source and had not changed any of the power-saving settings in Windows. Apparently the PC went to sleep and Boxee hung on shutdown. I tested and this seems to happen every time if the PC is hibernating. If I remote to it and wake it up, Boxee shuts down fine. Weird huh? Just thought I'd throw my observations out there in case someone else could benefit.
