nfo help?

I don't really get where to put .nfo files or what to put for them..for new tv shows for example Major Crimes on TNT. should i make nfo files or just wait for an update? i have a few newer shows that aren't in the library. file names are all correct. im pretty confused ive had my boxee for like 4 days. i'm using an external HD plugged into the back if that helps lol. im a noob and cant make sense of previous posts.

for starters nfo files and the video filenames must be the same and must be in the same folder as the video file. For my movies i store then i a folder called Movies and everything is in that 1 folder nfo and video side by side. For TV Show they are in a TV Shows folder and within have sub folders based on the Title of the Show and then sub folder within for Seasons.

I don't have nfo files for TV Shows (to lazy) but from what I understand you need the nfo for the show (root folder for the show) and then nfo for every episode.
