Pop-Up Blocking Fix yet?

I was reading older posts and was wondering if there was a new fix for blocking ads when streaming videos online. I'm running the latest version of the Boxee Box right now.

Toggle the option on or off and test.

If it allows you to stream - then yes.

If it does not - then no.

There have been no changes since the last firmware

I've only been testing for less than 12 hours, but I added a bunch of entries to /etc/hosts and have not received any ads, granted I've only tested it on Justin.tv
Telneted into the box, used wget to get a populated hosts file from the web, and used cat to add it to the hosts file.

Maybe it ain't working and I've gotten no ads for a different reason, but blocking is off in my browser.
