Boxee did not shows Movies in Movies

Hy,

i bought a Synology DS 412+, using the Media Manager from Synology. No i scanned my NAS with the boxee. In the File viewer i see my videos, but not in the Point Movies with the Cover jpg. Whats wrong? Is there somebody who can help me.

Sounds like you may have set up Boxee to access the files on your NAS via UPnP (media manager) which doesn't work well for scanning/identifying. Try adding folders from your NAS using SMB or NFS instead.

Yes, there is a upnp Media Server. Is it better to use Twonky Media Server? I want to use my films also on my PS3. I try to connect via Samba. Operation not permitted. Can not connect my video folder or music folder to Boxee.

You can have different streamers access your NAS in different ways so the PS3 can use Media Manager (or Twonky, another UPnP service) but if you want Boxee to identify your files so that they show up in the My Movies and My Shows screens, you will need to (also) use NFS or SMB when adding local sources to the Boxee Box.
