Local content search is not working + NFO file creation

Hi all,

I'm using Iomega TV with Boxee.
I've added the content on the boxee using SMB shares and the files are seen as local movies.

Please find below a sample nfo

<title>DSC 0706</title>
<originaltitle>DSC 0706</originaltitle>
<filenameandpath>/mnt/pools/Movies/DSC 070/DSC 070.MOV</filenameandpath>

</movie>

When i search for the file i'm able to see the file name in the list, but when i asked boxee to search for the file its yelling out "No results found".
When i've looked into the debug logs,
"The search invariably goes to http://res.boxee.tv/ to get the information instead of picking it from NFO and fails"

1. Can any one help me how to stop boxee from going to search for res.boxee.tv and search for the local content which added thru smb shares.
2. If the above format of nfo is not correct, pls help me out with a sample nfo file.
3. I've written a script to create nfo's is this a valid script or any more tweaking needs to be done. nfo_create.txt

Remove the line with the id tags completely (<id>-1</id>).

Even after removing the id tag its not working fine....
Any clue on how to make the search work.

It is searching res.boxee.tv url. I am not able to figure out why is it going to search for tv shows rather than movies on my local folder...

after removing the <id> tag, did you manually identify the movie (select the movie, select the identify icon, and then select NFO)?

if not, try that.

if you did try that and NFO doesn't come up, then boxee doesn't like the format/name of your NFO file.

how did you name the .nfo file?
be sure to save the .nfo file in utf-8 format.
