This release is based on our paid amo Boxee Remote Control however it is FREE and AD supported.

A small ad will display at the top.

amo Boxee Remote Control PAID will also drop from $4.99 to $1.99.

You will enjoy the same features of the latest Boxee protocol including library browsing *.

We've tweaked the full screen touchpad and added text entry from here as well. This is now the default navigation method, however we still have our other touchpad/s and directional pads as well as those optimized for tablet users.

* Unfortunately, after speaking with Marcel back in March many months ago, v 1.5 of Boxee on Linux, Mac, and Windows do not include the latest RPC protocol even though it was added to the Boxee Box back in 1.2. For this reason, we've included 2 modes for operating the remote, Boxee hardware, or Boxee software. Library and shortcuts will only work on Boxee Hardware like the Boxee Box.

1. Minor bug fixes for software users of Boxee.
2. Updated UI for Now Playing for tablet users.
3. Library is now alphabetically sorted.
* In the new Boxee Remote API, we only get back title, so we cannot sort by date. Sorting alphabetically was the next best option.
