Keep getting asked for Username and Password when trying to connect to PC

As the title says, BB keeps asking me for my username and password when I'm trying to set up my PC to browse files. Whenever I enter my username and password (which I assume is the username and password for boxee.tv?) it just shows my file source again and I'm asked to input my info once again. I've checked troubleshooting threads and nothing has worked so far.

It's asking for your Windows username and password. If your Window shares aren't set up for read access by Everyone then you'll get that prompt.

There's a place in the Boxee settings where you can enter that once (SMB Client username and password) and Boxee won't prompt you for it anymore.
