Thinking of buying boxee? need some help

I am thinking of getting a boxee box but am not sure if I can stream live channels over the net.

For example, there are channels on glarab.com that I can stream on my computer but had to download a plugin inorder for it to work. Can anyone let me know if this site will work with the boxee or not?

If a stream requires a plug-in, chances are it won't work on the Box since plug-ins can't be installed on it.
