Boxee Massive Freeze Up & Picture Quality
I have 1000 movies on my Boxee box.
I also have around 1000 TV files.
All of my files are local.
I have a 2TB Western Digital MyBook attached.
I like having Boxee find the file and cover info online, but many times it is incorrect or not found. So, I started adding my own folder.jpg files, which took forever. Next, I started using EMBER Media Manager. This makes custom .nfo and folder.jpg files (Among other files I don't need and can remove).
I have found 2 problems with this that I would like some assistance on.
1) The movie covers don't seem clean. They look a tad bit grainy in comparison to when they were just found by the Boxee Box. The files are sometimes small and sometimes very large, but they all seem a bit off in resolution.
2) The Boxee Box will only let me scroll for a few seconds on the medial library screen until it freezes and needs to be reset. This only started happening when I used EMBER. It seems fine without Ember files attached.
Are there better/easier media managers? Ember seems fine for Movies, but TV doesn't work at all. It's all messed up when it tries. Does anyone know what is freezing the Boxee or why the covers look odd?
Any help would be amazing!
Thanks!

Hello,
I always use Tumbgen to create .nfo files and folder images.

Trying Thumbgen now.
It seems easier to use than EMBER and has active support. You may have helped me there. I still wonder if Boxee can't handle the full load of reading thumbnails locally. I would think it would be quicker, but it seems much much slower.
Anyone have suggestions there?
If I have a moviesheet in the folder, I assume boxee ignores it, so that shouldn't matter either.

Deleted all Ember items and am using Thumbgen. Will know tonight when it is done compiling my lists.
Thumbgen is much less buggy. Thanks!
TV shows don't seem to work so nice for Boxee, however. Suggestions?
Does Boxee only accept .tbn files for episode pics?
