Default Mountain Lion - airplay audio to Boxee Box?

I can stream music to the Boxee Box from my iPhone, but is this feature supported on my ML MBP?

Possibly. Have you tried it? (e.g. from iTunes)?

If Boxee does not show up as a target (say in iTunes) then it's possible that ML includes changes that disable it for the Boxee Box.

AirPlay to non-Apple devices isn't officially supported by Boxee or Apple so if it works, great, and if not, you're probably out of luck (unless Boxee provides an update to possibly get it working again).

10.8 here. I just tried setting the output source to Boxee, but it reverts back to my Mac. So I guess not.

Airplay never officially supported? It was listed as a selling feature when I bought mine. But it's pretty much hit or miss, so I rarely use it.

I've never seen it referred to as anything but an experimental feature by Boxee but I may have missed it elsewhere -- do you recall where you saw it listed as a feature for the Box? All I recall is this:

    Boxee Labs
We’ve also got something from the “wouldn’t it be cool if Boxee could..” department – one of our engineers has been playing around with AirPlay and we’ve included it as an experimental part of this release. When you click on the AirPlay button on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch you will now see your Boxee Box as one of the target devices. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
    From: http://blog.boxee.tv/2011/08/09/boxe...d-more-goodies (Aug 2011, v1.2 firmware release)

And I don't see it listed on the main boxee.tv site that outlines the features and functionality of the Box...

I wonder if it would work with AirParrot?

It used to work with Lion with a command-line tweak. I think I read it here somewhere that you have to run a command on the mac to disable something related to IPV6.

Upon googling, I found that I reported a bug (which I have no memory of) and the boxee team said "won't fix, sorry."

See http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-12855 for the latest. But see http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-10483 for the solution.
