Default Some movies not showing in 'Movies'

Ive just added a second boxee box, and after doing a scan of all network drives, I have 398 films.

On the existing box we have around 580 films.

Ive looked at all the "unidentified" ones and cleaned those up...but there were only a handfull.

After further investigation I have found that if I browse in FILES view, I can see missing movies...for example...back to the future 2 and 3. They are NOT showing up as "unidentified", and if I click on them in FILES view the movie information displays correctly (so they have been identified).....but they do not show in MOVIES.

However....If I go into FILES view, select a film which is missing, then IDENTIFY it, it then appears in MOVIES correctly.

Im not quite sure why this is happening, as the Boxee has definetly already identified the films correctly....and I have no way of finding which files are the problem ones (without writing down 500+ names and cross checking them all manually).

Does anyone know why this is happeneing and if there is a fix?

Oh... Ive tried doing forced rescans of all the network drives.....didnt help.

Is Settings > Parental Controls > "Hide adult feeds and applications" enabled ?

If so try turning it off and restarting your BB and see if that fixes anything.

What are you trying to suggest

It was ENABLED, so I changed it to disabled. Sadly the movie count hasn't gone up any.

In your Boxee interface have a look at your Back to the Future file for the original movie. You may find all 3 of them are in there having not been identified correctly. Alternatively have a look to see if there are any movies you don't actually have that have been identified incorrectly.

As B0ink has said, it's possible that Boxee is treating the two Back to the Future sequels as alternative sources for the first movie. Make sure you use the official names in your files, which in this case are "Back to the Future Part II" and "Back to the Future Part III" respectively. If any of the other missing movies are sequels, it's also worth checking if any of those are showing under the first movie in the series.
