    Default AFP file share issues

I’ve been watching local content over wifi via an AFP share to my iMac for about 3 months with no “major” issues. I’ve had to re-enter my username/password many times and had to re-boot quite often for various reasons/freezes. (not very happy with Boxee Box, wish I had returned it while I could) ANYWAY...all of a sudden I can’t access any media either from movies/shows screen or via files menu.

Tried removing sources to re-add them, but nothing even happens when I select AFP from add sources menu.

    Performed a factory restore...same problem.

Now I enabled SMB and was able to add the sources that way. Seems to be working for now. WIll be interesting to see if it remembers my sharing credentials this way.

Has anyone experienced this? Is the loss of sharing credentials normal?

Does either SMB or AFP work better with the Boxee?

    Thanks in advance.

No, I see in another post that users are having issues with OS X 10.7.4, but I update regularly, so I would have been using this version since it came out, which I believe was in May sometime, I’ve only had problems the last few days.
