#Scanned files are different than #Movies

I have close to 850 movies on my hard drive and they've scanned and shows the same # under setting > Files , but when i go to "MY Movie" section ; there are only 170 movies showing up ?!

anyone know what could be the issue?

[I had no issue till had to perform a "reset all setting" the other day and now I have this problem on my local files]

Your media info database may have become corrupted. Try settings>>system>>advanced and "clear media info" option and see if everything rescans.

If that doesn't work, do this:

1) remove all sources
2) clear media info (again)
3) add one source at a time, waiting for scanning and identifying to complete then add the next source
