Can I hookup an mp3 player to my Boxee Box to play audible books?

I have searched but can't find the answer here, I just started to get into the audible book craze and really don't like listening to them on my PC. I was wondering if I got a SanDisk MP3 Player and plugged it into the Boxee USB port if I could listen that way? The reason for the MP3 player is so I can bookmark where I left off. Or would a USB stick work, and if so, would the Boxee Box remember where I left off in the book? Any suggestions on how to get audible books to play on my Boxee Box would be appreciated.

I dont think connecting the MP3 player would work - I would expect USB to work (if the audio format is supported). I would guess that it would not remember where it left off for an audio track like it does for video.

I could be 100% wrong though.
