Default boxee not connecting with navi x

I just recently started using boxee and found navi x just
just before it went down last week. Now that it is up with
new server, I still cannot get nav x. I have uninstalled it
and re installed it in repository. I still get the same message
"cannot open file" for nav i. Anyone else with this problem.

I am not having this issue (last I checked). Have you checked the Navi-X thread?

If it appears to be an issue only for you, it may be worth while to reset your boxee and reapply the latest firmware. You should only need to reset your local sources and rescan.

How do I reapply the latest firmware, reset my local sources, and rescan? I'm not very good at this stuff, but I have been use Navi-X for about 7 months now and it just stopped working about 2 hours ago... Please help!

I believe this is currently being discussed in the Navi-X thread here:

    http://forums.boxee.tv/showthread.ph...ghlight=navi-x

    Hey Folks,

Just a heads up... if you didn't know by now, Navi-X for Boxee is having issues not showing up in the repo or on boxee for those who "favorite: our app. I e-mailed Marcel about this and he is getting in touch with the server staff to make sure all is well in Boxee land and it's not something on their side causing this. Long story short... I restored the index.xml file for the repo manually by copying and pasting the original when I tried removing Navi-X Remix a couple of days ago... I guess that's what I get for not listening to everyone telling me to keep Navi-X Remix.

In any case, the repo is correct, but it's not aggregating the apps anymore and I'm working on restoring the apps functionality asap... granted, I have to look for a job first, I will make time to do this as soon as possible. It's even cutting into my "Battlefield 3" time but I know this is more important so bare with me.

I will let everyone know via http://twitter.com/navi_x when service for Navi-X on Boxee has been restored. Thanks again for your patience everyone.

    Regards,

    iRoNBiLL
