As a source for the Boxee Box, I have videos on an 5TB external hard drive that's connected to a Mac mini. This works fine.

I created some symbolic links for episodes within DVD ISOs which were not auto-detected by the BB, but after identifying the "episodes" one by one, worked fine as well.

However, after some time (possibly after a shut down and restart?), the identification of the symlinks is forgotten. I go into "Unidentified Files" and the screen is full of once again unidentified DVD ISO "episodes", but the file sizes are way off (e.g. 169 GB for a 125 MB file) on most and the interface nearly freezes (it takes ~2 minutes between each remote action).

Any ideas why the symlinks are forgotten after awhile? Or why the file sizes are inaccurate and the Boxee Box becomes nearly unresponsive?
