cannot keep bb awake

no matter what i do it turns off (maybe sleeps)
with the original remote it wakes up but it's like the whole boot process
and off course it wont wake up using the usb ir adapter

It sounds like it is turning off rather than sleeping, as resuming from sleep is practically instant. The Boxee Box actually has no true sleep mode, but simply turns off the display.
You might have a faulty box but you should probably try pairing your remote control with the box on the off-chance that there is somebody else with a Boxee Box close enough to you that their remote control is affecting your box.

it looks like it turns off by the boot time
btw - the original remote wakes it up
it just changed after one of the last firmwares updates
until then the logo on the box was slightly dimmed
but the usb was alive
really annoying u can't choose it on the settings
