    Default Boxee Server down??

    Hello boxee people,

I've been noticing my boxee being a little odd, so figured it's due for a reboot. After the reboot I didn't get automatically logged in, tried to log in manually and got a "login failed" message. So I just loaded up boxee without a connection, got the connection back up, things seemed okay. But all my favourite apps are not visible nor are any other apps.

Boxee.tv site works fine... but the support.boxee.tv site doesn't. Is that a hint that some server is down? Should I be waiting or should I attempt to reset my box and hope for the best?

Apps are up and running here. All seems well, reboot box and try again.

I've rebooted, twice actually. Should I try a reset? Like return to factory settings?

From boxee settings (gear icon) select system/advanced/restore to default settings... See if this fixes it without doing a full restore.

Figured it out, very odd problem. I use Unblock US to get US/UK content. They have a new feature to pick which country's Netflix you want access to. I'm in Canada but with the setup I don't get access to the Can content, so instead of going through my network settings and resetting my connection, I figured just select Canada on their service site. For some reason I can't connect to Boxee's server when that is on. Oddly enough I couldn't get onto boxee's support page either, it would just act as if it's offline.

Once I switched the setting to "US" it's all back and running. Odd stuff. New addition to service, it is still in Beta. So I'll be letting them know of this bug.

Thanks for posting back how you resolved this. It may help other Unblock US users out there.
