Boxee has never had HBO shows available directly. Either try via either the official HBO Go app or as posted above, using the third-party app, Navi-X.

i have the show downloaded on my library it just doesnt have the meta data on file? any suggestions?

Yes, go to http://jira.boxee.tv and post an issue mentioning that News Room isn't getting identified automatically.

or create .nfo's for it. i gave up opening tickets for metadata issues. first, IMO we shouldn't have to and second, the last few i opened took a longer to get addressed than i am willing to wait and still weren't 100% correct.Originally Posted by darcilicious

i said goodbye to boxee box all together. i decided to go with a jailbroken apple tv 2. its a far better device running xbmc and it works really well and is much more stable. it has the ability to handle NAS and netflix as well as hulu

I have this same problem... uhg... I'm so sick of all the broken crap from Boxee. I think I'm not far off from doing the same... so long Boxee...

Are you sure you're typing it in right. It's "The Newsroom" not The News Room.

i did spell it right and tried "Newsroom" which brought up a show from the 60's and then i tried "newsroom 2012" both returned the wrong shows. I am reporting on week 3 of apple tv with xbmc and its awesome. You dont need a ton of knowledge about programing. The add on content is amazing, you can stream anything and the apple tv interface is awesome! i am selling my boxee for 100 dollars on craiglist, this is a steal compared to a new one
