Boxee Box login windows file sharing login issues

Hey everyone,

So I've been beating my head against a wall trying to figure this one out.

File sharing is enable on my boxeebox. I can see boxeebox in my network places. I can get all the way till I see my harddrive. I click on it. it gives me a login screen. type in the guest and the password. Hit enter and it just recycles the screen. do that a couple of times and then I get a user name could not be found.

I have noticed when I go to login it I type in my username and password and the first time it recycles the login window it puts my computer name in front of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Go to Settings>>Network>>Server on the Boxee Box and remove the password (the username will remain: guest) and make sure the Box is in the "WORKGROUP" as the PC (typically "WORKGROUP" by default). Reboot the box and the PC and try again.
