    Default NFO problems with Boxee box

    Hi everyone
    I always to my scraping with Ember media manager and that is the NFO I want to use. I have the files shared over network with NFS.

    The problems:
    1.) Even though I have .nfo, .jpg and a .mkv files, Boxee does not always choose the nfo file or the jpg file when adding it. It might even come up wtih its own pictures even though I have a good nfo file.....strange?

    2.) After a media scan: All files does not always get identified and I have to manually identify the file. Sometimes when I manually identify a mkv file it does not give me the chance to choose the nfo file, I just get the search options. The nfo file should have been choosen from the beginning but what kind of error might the nfo file have if I'm not able to choose it when I manually indentifying a mkv file? (Note: No strange names or characters is used for the file naming and that is why I dont understand the problem with not using my nfo files)

    3.) I know this is well known problem but WTF: Media scanning takes to long. For me it takes 1-2 minutes for every movie to be added.

    1) remove ore rename the <id> tags in the NFO files
    2) can you post an example of the the movie file name, the nfo file name and the contents of the nfo file of one that doesn't work?

    Same problem here, so I post my questions in here...

    I used the http://nfo.sprocket.dk/ to generate a NFO for my movies. The NFO looks like this:

    <movie>
    <title>Johan Falk 1: GSI - Gruppen för särskilda insatser</title>
    <rating>10</rating>
    <year>2009</year>
    <outline>Men hur kommer det sig att denna lilla specialstyrka uppnår sådana förvånansvärda resultat där andra enheter fullständigt misslyckas? Hur ser egentligen GSI:s relation med de kriminella ut? Och vad är det för hemliga kuvert som förvaras i kassaskåpet hos chefen för länskrim? Långsamt öppnas Johans ögon för en värld han inte trodde fanns.</outline>

    <mpaa></mpaa>
    <id>tt1295905</id>
    <trailer></trailer>
    <genre>Action,Thriller</genre>
    <director>Anders Nilsson</director>
    <actor>
    <name>Jakob Eklund</name>
    </actor>
    <actor>
    <name>Joel Kinnaman</name>
    </actor>
    <actor>
    <name>Mikael Tornving</name>
    </actor>
    </movie>

    And in the folder it looks like this:
    Johan Falk 1- GSI.nfo JOHAN_FALK_GSI.mkv

    BUT, even thou the image is working, the NFO is in the folder, I ended up with either a blank image / gray, or the movies will end up in a movie called History (thats the folder were my movies is in).

    And when I try to manual fix and search for the movies, it can only find ONE of the movies and not the rest. WTH.

    Johan Falk 1- GSI.nfo JOHAN_FALK_GSI.mkv
    These two need to be identically named, e.g.

    Johan Falk 1- GSI.nfo Johan Falk 1- GSI.mkv

    OR

    JOHAN_FALK_GSI.nfo JOHAN_FALK_GSI.mkv

    OR if they're all in a their own folder:

    --FOLDER
    ----movie.nfo
    ----Johan Falk 1- GSI.mkv

    This is clearly outlined in the NFO support page.
