Default Naming convention for French movies?

    Hi,

I found this thread for naming convention and before going on and re-naming all my files, I would like to know if you guys had any succes with non-english movies.

For example, Tangled file would be named:
    Tangled.(2010).m4v

But since I have the French version, how should I rename the file so the title and description is in French for my kids to understand?
    Tangled.(2010).French.m4v
    or
Raiponce.(2010).m4v (which is the official french title)
    or something else.

    Thanks!!!

You will probably have to go the NFO route, and probably manually create them as I don't know of any NFO generators that work in other languages (if someone else does, hopefully they will post or you can try Googling around for one).

When creating the NFO files, be sure NOT to include the <id> tag so that Boxee will only use the metadata in the NFO file and not override it with its English language version.

    So you would do this:

    Raiponce.(2010).m4v
    Raiponce.(2010).nfo

and inside, Raiponce.(2010).nfo would look like (apologies for the translation, blame Google ):

    Code:
    <movie>
     <title>Raiponce</title>
     <rating>8.3</rating>
     <year>2010</year>
