    ^^ thanks

    Actually my hope was that boxee would look here and add them to their database. A bit optimistic I know.

    I'll try out working more on the nfo, however, would really not like to make a nfo for each episode, so will try to put more info into the tvshow.nfo and clear the id parameter. Hopefully that's enough... But I doubt it.

    If you report the issues via http://jira.boxee.tv they just might update their database.

    Youre right darcilicious, I may have to go that way.

    Just tried something though.

    I edited the tvshow.nfo file, removed the number ID, and put in the show name, plot, and genre. However, still does not work.

    My structure:

    folder/
    tvshow.nfo
    season 1
    /Show S01E01.avi

    I have a feeling that I need to make episode.nfo for each episode, right? Or can anyone make it work with just the tvshow.nfo?

    you will need individual .nfo's for each ep. removing the id from the tvshow.nfo just keeps boxee from polling their servers and allows you to control the metadata.

    Default similar issue

    I have a similar issue
    I ahve a TV show rip of 7 seasons, each 6-7 DVD's

    folder/
    tvshow.nfo
    /season 1
    //season 1 disk 1.iso
    //season 1 disk 2.iso
    .
    .
    /season 2
    //season 2 disk 1.iso
    //season 2 disk 2.iso
    .
    And so on

    I find the show. BUT the disk for each season doesnt show up, they are unknow.
    Its 48 disks as ISO in total, so I think its a bit much to identify each and one of them, How can I get them up and running.

    Any help would be great!

    *Edit I CAN play the files, they just must be found in the unknown folder, not in the TV show folder

    Well, "season 2 disk1. iso" is not filename format that can be used to have Boxee identify your files. Minimally, it would have to be:

    /season 2
    //Show Name S02E01.iso
    //Show Name S02E05.iso

    assuming there's four episodes (or whatever it is) per ISO.

    And unfortunately, ISO files with multiple episodes per file generally doesn't work.

    since .iso files for tv shows contain multiple eps there is no way to identify each ep individually.

    I haven't read through this thread (all my tv eps are in single mkv files) but you might find some useful info here:

    I dont care to see all episodes in the list, all I want to see is that there IS something in the folder
    So if I rename season 1 disk 1 to be tvshow s01e01, and then tvshow s0105 and they show up, its fine by me (assuming 4 episode on each disk)
