I just got and installed my boxee today.

I got lubuntu on a laptop which im trying to access the boxee smb and the external hdd ive hooked up to it.

I can find and access \\boxeebox\ and there i can see "iomega_hdd" but i cannot access it at all, or that i keep getting authentication window where the credentials is not accepted (those in the settings).

Yes smb file sharing is enabled in the settings on the boxee.

the unit is hooked up on the lan by wire.
