Default Boxee dead and out of warranty

    G'day guys,

My boxee box died the other week and I can't get it to factory reset at all. It just sits there and blinks red when you turn it on /hold for 5 seconds. I am 2 months out of warranty and this is my second box that has had problems.

Is there anything I can do to try and bring it back to life? Maybe crack it open and hit a jumper to reset it manually?

I really like the boxee box but the reliability isn't making me want to buy another. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Travis

I've cracked an email off to him, crossing my fingers that he may be able to help out.

Possibly. I've never had them check anything I've returned. TVs, external hdd and other electronics but I guess it depends where you live. In my experience folks who make min wage don't really pay that much attention to detail for their shitty employer. Worth a shot if all else fails.

Another one bites the dust. I'm in the exact same boat.

This left me with a sour taste in my mouth as it's the second box I've gone through. So long Boxee.

You should have some luck with dlink support, Marcel directed me to them. They asked for the serial number of my RMA's box that I have now, not the original Boxee I had and based off that they are replacing it for me.

    Hopefully this one lasts
