boxee not recognising hard drive

Hey guys i have been using a 500gb western digital elements desktop hd with my boxee for ages and its worked fine till 2 days ago and now it cant see any files on my hd at all even though my tv and computer recognise the hard drive and play contents just fine.

check the read/ write permissions on the HDD "western digital" drive.

Try to remove the drive share fully on Boxee and re-scan to remove everything from the library and then re-add. Check what happens.

It's not working for me either. I had a Boxee Box for more than a year and it suddenly stopped working last week. Any ideas why? When will we see a new firmware? I have much more problems with the Boxee Box now.
