    Default Boxee cannot see source for music streaming

    Hi, had my boxee a couple of weeks now & after an initial "i've bought the wrong thing!" I'm warming to it & quite impressed

    Anyway, I'm using it connected to a synology ds212j nas, it picks up movies fine and artwork etc, however I cannot get it to see my music. Each time I add source Music & then select music it says there are no sources added?? Very confusing but no doubt a simple solution!

    Any suggestions appreciated,

    It seems like it might be a permissions issue?

    Which network protocol are you using to browse to the Music section on your NAS?

    If you go to Files from the home screen and then SMB, can you browse to your music folders/files that way?

    I also think that it would be a permissions issue. And i usually navigate my SMB folders 'manually' for music.

    I'm using UPnP which works well for movies (except it won't pick up 2012), I can see the NAS on Windows Network (SMB) but it asks for a userid & password?
