    Question iPad Questions

    Hello,

Does it matter what type of iPad you have if you are interested in using the Boxee? I am curious since I have access to an older iPad. Are the newer iPads better to use with the Boxee?

It seems the newer iPads would work better with the Boxee. I am curious to hear your experiences in this area. Thank you.

It's a free app -- there's zero risk in downloading Boxee Media Manager onto your computer and giving the iPad application a spin.

    Default Anyone can try it?

I am very interested in giving the program a try on the iPad. So, you just need to download it when it becomes available on your iPad? No special registration numbers are needed or key codes? I was not sure if they were going to limit the number of users in the beginning?

Which app are you talking about specifically? The Boxee app or the Cloudee app?

Currently both are free, the Boxee app can be downloaded from the app store but to be useful you must:

    1) have Boxee installed or a Boxee Box AND have queued up videos to watch later
    OR
    2) have Boxee Media Manager installed and have added video sources to it

If you're talking about Cloudee, go to http://cloudee.com in Safari on the iPad, click the download link, install, run, log in via Facebook and wait for invites

Thank you - I was under the impression that the application was built together. I did not realize they are two separate applications.

I will take a look at the link you have provided for me to view. I will also look for additional info on the Boxee app. Thanks again!

How many video applications can normally sit on your phone? Does using the Cloudee application help to free up your phone usage so that it will run more efficiently? Thank you for the link - it gave me some useful info about the Cloudee application!

Video apps? As many as you like or as many as the memory of your iPad can accommodate.

Cloudee will stream videos from "the cloud" but you can also store them on your iPhone -- how many depends on the size of the videos and the amount of memory on your iPhone.

No it does not matter what type of iPad you have for using the Boxee. So you can go ahead to use it.
