Default Help! BB icon showing 3 Red flashing 1 Green flashing light-Freezes at GRAY screen

I've had my BB for past 8 months and been working fine besides small hiccups here and there. Last night as I turned it on all it showed was Gray screen with "Loading" on bottom but thats as far as it gets. I also am getting 3 flashing red lights and 1 flashing green on device icon. Ive done "Reset" (holding down power button for 5-8 sec) and it goes to Black screen. I've had it connected directly to hdmi port on My mitsubishi WD-65738 HDMI compliant. same hdmi cable, same setup for 8 months. So i did the usb reset by downloading boxes.iso file to usb and tried updating and same Black screen results. Is my BB defective? Anything else I can try or is it pretty much bricked?

    This might help:

    Turn off the Box
Remove the power cord for 15 seconds
    Reconnect the power cord
    Turn on the Box

Otherwise, you can either contact official technical support (first link below) and/or start the RMA process directly with D-Link.

Mine did the "3 red blinks and one green blink" thing also. Where can we see the "blink codes" so we know what they mean?

The power off/on thing seems to work (complete unplug, wait seveal minutes). But, many times on restart when in the "reset" menu, my remote doesn't work at all and can't change the highlighted option or activate it.

from this page: http://support.boxee.tv/entries/2073...and-indicators at the bottom:

    Code:
    LED Color Status/Description
Dark green Normal running with no media playing

Dimmed green Boxee is playing media or in power saving mode

Yellow/orange No Internet connection or Boxee is in the recovery menu

Red/green blinking	Update failed due to a bad Internet connection. If this
happens hold and press the power button for 5 to 8
seconds to enter the recovery menu. We recommend
selecting the factory restore option and following the
                            on-screen instructions.

Pressing and holding the power button merely turns off the Boxee Box. Any other suggestions?

I have to say a consumer appliance that blows it's brains out and there's nothing you can do about it. That's really frustrating. Bad Experience.
