    Question watching television shows

    Hi,

Set up my Boxee last evening and my daughter and I were browsing through the Television shows that are available. Sadly, most of what we wanted to watch was available to rent, for 1.99 from vudu. I say sadly because the way I understand it, vudu is pay per view which means if she or I want to watch and entire season of a show we like, or re-watch episodes we enjoyed, we will need to pay for each episode individually. DirectTv was expensive but at least I could DVR shows and watch them whenever I wanted.

Netflix already has a lot of what she is interested in for $8 per month so we can use Netflix. I will try playon via uPnP from my PC as a work around for Hulu and Hulu Plus. Honestly, we don't mind the ads or the monthly cost of services such as these, however, we were hoping to use Boxee for more television that didn't require my PC (playon) in the mix.

Does anyone know of a better way to get television shows than vudu? A subscription based service would be my preference. I can't imagine what my bill would be like if everything we watched cost me $2 or more.

    Thanks!

Turn off Vudu by goin to the top left of shows.
You should get Navi-X if you want lots of content.

    Add the repository.

There are alot of kids shows available on the youtube app too. Whenever my kids are screaming this is what I use. Its the quickest way of satisfying them.

Also search the forums (announcement section) for Bartsidee's TV Framework app and/or see: http://bartsidee.nl/ for access to Hulu and Hulu+
