Default Loading Error Could not access files

All of a sudden I am getting the following message when I tried to access my files:

"Loading error. Could not access file, directory or devise." I have two boxees and am getting the same message on both. I have not changed anything on my computer (a Mac). Everything is set up for file sharing. I can get on the internet with boxes and play apps. When I tell it to rescan my files it does so and shows the number of files I have. So it looks like Boxee is reading the files on my computer but will not access them.

The two quickest things to try:

    1) Power cycling the Boxee Box (turning it off, then on again)
    2) Turn off the Boxee Box, then the computer. Then turn on the computer, and then Boxee Box.

is there a service or process we can just turn off and on in windows? rebooting is always such a pain. i know that with my xbox sometimes i have problems with the video streaming and all i have to do is stop and start the wmpnetworksvc service in task manager and that seems to fix it

I would hazard (just) a guess that it's the service(s) related to samba network sharing; what that/those service(s) are, I don't know offhand.

Hmm, the fact that you have two BB's saying the same thing tells that something has changed on the sharing computer/network.
